Re: Nice Lure
After seeing Rupes pictures that does not look right Callop ! I'm no RMG expert and if it's not Robs hand writing what else isn't Rob's ?
The tow wire looks a hell of a lot newer than the lure does.

for your sake I hope it's not a good copy, But search Rupes posts and other RMG posts and make your own mind up .
To me the eyes and scale pattern don't look the same as Rob's vintage paintwork.

Re: Nice Lure
Hi Stephen .Imade this lure for myself about 16 years ago . I use to go over to Rob,s when he lived in Glen Innes back in the early 90,s Rob showed me some cured drawing rulers back then and it has this shape , can,t think what it is called .Anyway Rob had some chop bone blanks there and gave me one +blank rellic doc and Biggoon body .I went home and started to sand and paint it ,And this is the result .Isold a big collection of lures to a bloke who worked at Harboard tackle about 1996, And this lure was in it, Irecently bought the collection back +alot more and then broke it up Kept what i was after then sold the collection to a mate . Rob Gaden Taught me how to make and paint lures and this is why it looks similar to RMG lures ThanksAllan A&B lures

Good work Allan......I could not have answered it better myself. Looks like old age has not affected your memory.....but I saw a recent photo of you , sorry age hasn't helped your hair-line....barrablaster wrote:Hi Stephen .Imade this lure for myself about 16 years ago .
