Wooden Jitterbug - Special edition nude

Hi all . . . well time to resurrect this thread with another Special Edition wooden Jitterbug from Fred Arbogast. I have more information on these and they were released for the 50th anniversary of the Jitterbug (the first wooden cedar J/Bugs were made in 1937 which dates the release date for these in 1987). So they are a vintage lure now. This is how they look complete with shavings in the box with the lure. Dofferent to the first one I posted which doesn't have the Jitterbug marking on the back of the lure;

Sorry for bringing up an old thread...but to answer your different models/colours...You could probably have 700 different combinations!
Here are a few of mine, and I'm a long way off.

I spoke to a local store and they can still get them in new. I believe the first ones of these came in 3 colours in the early 40's. 1 was plastic (the perch colour I have) A red and white one in timber and a silver one unknown if timber or plastic.

I think I now will have to add the jitterbugs to my collection list. I am afraid to ask but how many different models and colours are there approx.?

Thank you for the compliments! I have been collecting Jitterbugs since 1998...I also collect Fred Arbogast advertising pieces and Catalogs. Give me a few days I'll see what I have for duplicates! I'll start a new thread on here tomorrow or so with some pictures and misc. information that you guys may find interesting..such as the back story on those 15 or so Musky Jitterbugs (They were special ordered from the factory in 1991 by a collector, 2 of each were made..)

Hiya Kevin . . .

I must say I did notice those Musky Jitterbugs and the interesting colour combinations - I mainly concentrate on the smallest sizes and my collection (probably about 100) looks rather insignificant compared to yours!!

Any information posted would be gratefuly accepted as that is what this site is really about.
