Re: Hot Joker
Adam,
I have one and one only hot joker, the survivor of the 'snake attack' tale told elsewhere. That pic I ripped off a guys fishing blog, I thought it might have been the one the guys were looking for>

Here's a cuple more of these classic japanese lures.
All with original gold hooks & two have never been swum.

Re: Hot Joker
nice Fiz
by the looks of things, there would have to be at least 7 different colours

Adam,
I'm not sure exactly how many in total but at least 7 that we know of. It would be nice if someone could shed sme light.
I'm pretty sure these came out with the boxes marked Yo Zuri Attacl like the L-Jack minnows. I may be wrongbut don't think so.
The top right pattern was prone to paint crazing & cracking.

can't remember myself what the boxes read

you just have to look at the eyes between the two lures and it pretty much answers your question

Re: Hot Joker
Here's a Hot Joker with it's matching box, I never did get around to using it, though I did have it rattling around in my tackle box with my other trout lures for a while.

Re: Hot Joker
G'day Mully
Sadly the colour I have was the only one on the shelf at the time, it would be nice to see what a joker looks like in a fire tiger pattern.
Before the long drought, the local trout and redfin would hammer fire tiger pattern lures in the unclear waters of Jacksons & Deep Creeks, but that was way before they became stagnant pools, hopefully the recent rains will bring the creeks back to life.
