geez Baz, just caught this post...she's a beauty mate clapclap top score and as Rupe said, even better release smckin she would've been fun on that light gear...what are you running on that set up, 30lb braid?

Falky, I'm using 20lb braid and 20lb f/c leader on a 5-8 kg rod.I was throwing soft plastics for Snapper when this thing smashed my lure.It hoovered it that far down you couldn't even see the plastic, it was in it's stomach.

Kingies are one of the most stubborn fighting fish I've come across.

A couple more Broughton Island Reds taken today.Bro in law got smoked by a whopper, only got 2 winds on the fish before a never ending run that seen the fish win it's freedom.

Got 11 on Tuesday as well, no pics though.The fishing is good and I've been lucky enough to be doing plenty of it this week thumbsupsmilie , I have a very understanding Wife bowsmilie .
