p.s. the Herring baitfish schools are huge this year, son was trolling them up, they were that thick and going 125++mm sawht

Tarpon and Giant Herring at the back door. Sounds like a good place to be over summer. If you have a neigbours wharf to get all the scales on from the GHerrring even better than messing up your own thumbsupsmilie . I recon then that small GT's and Jacks would be close by as well. When are we going to see a fish on that Deception gold bomber Rob ???

Mate, GT's and Jacks arrived about 2-3 weeks ago .... waiting for the Giant Herring though - interesting thought, who'd win a tug war across the bay on a weight for weight basis .... Giant Herring or a Jack ???

Alistair .... somehow don't think the Deception Gold Bomber will get a run against these toothy critters .... lol lol crazysmilie reckon that big green scorpion you've got would be a go though pokeystix

Jack for sure, the Herring spend to much time in the air to put the hurt on a Jack.

The Scorpion? I dont think so. assy

I'm thinking about pound for pound clear water .... (Jack dirty v G. Herring damn fast) - wonder how I could orchestrate this tug-of-war -hmmthink -hmmthink

6/0 through the back of the herring and a bit of weight to get down to where the jacks are should do the trick.
