You know I don't care either way. The site was dead when we took it over, had a lot of watchers when the bloodsports were active. This has resulted in the inevitable. Was always going to be the case & the reason I had no illusions at the start.

Are all the recent lures hybrids?
Very impressive collections.

The lures featured in this thread are 100% genuine hand carved Keith Baker lures.

It was a difficult decision to leave them in their clear finish state or to have them painted by Rob Gaden.

In the end, for me anyway, I decided that to have some hybrids in my very small collection would be desirable.

My old mate had the foresight to take some pics of these lures before they were sent to the "sweat shop" in Coffs.

The end result was most pleasing. clapclap clapclap clapclap

So in answer to your question James, no not all recent lures are hybrids. thumbsupsmilie

Either way, they are great lures and I love them.

Have not yet got one in the collection, but my day will come soon.
Missed one kray on ebay last year...

Will need to save up for them, they go for good coin these days still I believe.

Paint on them certainly highlights the brilliant carving, but, these will probably remain how they arrived. However, you never know with Albert, he may get a bee in his bonnet & try to get some of these painted lol lol Rob has retired & sold all his gear, Keith doesn`t have the facilities where he now resides, so who knows who he will ask lol lol
