Gday

I bumped into a bloke today who mentioned the "burrinjuck Specials" , aparently they are a stuckeys lure ( from what i gather from another post ) this bloke has a handfull that he fishes and wanted to track down a few more, I mentioned that they might even be collectables now and i would look into it as i knew a place that has all the info thumbsupsmilie

Is there any more info on the stuckeys burrinjuck specials availabe that anyone knows of? these lures are talked about by many blokes up this way, i even had a few that were given to me,which i then gave to another mate ( who has since lost them ) so any help would be appreciated

cheers
Buck

Got Buckleys,

I fish with & know Stuckey personally 7 these are defitatley not Stuckeys.

You can always tell Stucks by the "D " shaped tail ring & the wire araldited into the bib.

trust me i have 100 of them.

Cheers.

bOB,

a STUCKEYS HAS ABOUT 2 OR 3 TELL TALE SIGNS THAT ITS A sTUCKS.

1/ "D" shaped tail ring for the rear split ring.

2/ Lexan bib with molded curves in it in 2 directions

3/ Wire araldited into the bib.

The only ones with the D tail ring were a very, very few of his first & they are now 15yrs old. I was sitting in his lounge room yesterday so I know what they look like, what the pics you have posted are NOT Stucks.

For4 some reason I cant get opne of my pics to post up but trust me if the pics you ghave there are what your'e talking aboiut they arnt Stucks

One of the verified very early originals that Angry is talking about, that didn't have the D shaped tail ring thumbsupsmilie thumbsupsmilie

They are stuckeys if he got them in sdyney[prolly only shop in sdyney that sells all 3 brands] they would of come from the shop I work at.Not sure if this Angry guy is just a gee up or what but the stuckeys in the photo have the d shape and the bid.

Guys, I think there is some confusion about which Pic of whicj=h lure we are talking about.
The first pic of the 50 & 60in Rainbow Trout pattern are Stuckeys.

The Pic attached to Cols post are NOT stuckeys.

SME , I have known Stuckey since 2000 & fished with him every month since, I'm not a put up . I happen to visit Stuck at least once a month, so I see all sorts of Stucks .

The Burrinnjuck Special you refer to is the name given to Stuckeys by a certain tackle shop in Canberra as they didnt have an official name back then, & the Tackle shop owner wanted to keep the identity & origon of these lures a secret. The actual Burrinjuck Special is a certain color Green with Black lines on the back & an orange belly.
I'll post a pic of the Burrinjuck special when I get a chance.
