possibly old

Post by Falky » Mon Oct 20, 2008 2:44 pm

I have this possibly old 150mm Codseeker lure given to me.
Now, not sure if its a very early model or not. do the 150mm noses on the later models come to a point. this lure doesn't come to a point but more rounded at the nose.
have a look and let me know if possible thumbsupsmilie

the nose is definitely different so its guaranteed older [original shape] but as to the possible age the pattern may give more info...you may also find the thickness of the bib is different also and towpoints hope to hear from Mike then will confirm...

The original 150mm codseeker had the round nose and flat sides, yours looks like it has the flat sides but it looks a little more rounded then the example i have but that could be the paint scheme and the photo angle that makes it seem that way.
i would like to see a photo of the tail of the lure side on to be sure but it looks like the original 150mm to me.
I am pretty sure it was about 3 years ago that mick changed to the rounded shape.

Thats the one original 150mm codseeker.
I am pretty sure it was 3 years ago that mick changed to the rounded shape and that is one of the fairly new colours so i would put it at between 3 and 5 years old.

From the man himself

Hi Paul,

That was my original 150mm lure and was in production from approx 2001 to 2005. Hope this helps.

Regards Michael.
