Early line floatant

Hi all;

One important component of fishing the dry fly is keeping your fly on the surface so most anglers would 'grease' the leader. From the early days of fly fishing anglers would use duck fat to assist in keeping the leader afloat and then silicon based greases were used and are still used today;
