I've been using 2 Okuma spinning reels for a couple of years now and haven't had a problem with them. Was thinking about buying a V-System baitcaster soon but I might have to look at getting another Shimano.Have owned quite a few Shimano baitcasters now and they are proven performers. thumbsupsmilie

must agree Bob, warranty is no good waiting 6 months for a new one so you can go fishing and remember just my opinion i know a lot of reel repairers who say their a waste of time.
