River2Sea Baby Crank 40

Picked up one of these the other day, they look great. They also look very similar to the Jackal Chubby, but half the price.

Dan I bought the exact same one the oter day and gave it a run, landbased, it is a very heavy lure for its size, and dives down pretty quick, I soon gave up with it because I kept catching the bottom, but me thinks it will slay a couple out of a boat where it would be easier to handle

Are they floaters Dan?

If they are Prawno just run them slower. I run the cc predators landbased they dive a lot deeper ,yeah they hit bottom but I slow right down and skim the bottom this is where I usually get my best hits.

Just an thought thumbsupsmilie

as an addition to that Mully, i was once told by an SA 'guru' that you run very close to the bottom from bream and bottom to mid water for Mulloway...sound logical as the bream are scavengers / predators and snort th silt to find yumchaa, where as Jewies are predominatly predatory, hence their bottom lurking in order to ambush prey abouve them...
my 3.8 cents !
