KP Kranks

Post by turtle » Thu Sep 27, 2007 9:44 pm

Hey fisho's

Just wondering if anyone else has given the KP a run and if they rate it?

I took the single hooks off mine and put a single owner treble on cause I found it rose to quick if I paused at all with the singles hooks, but then I didn't think the action was as good as when it had the singles on.
Thought about tryin some tungsten putty to get him to hold on a pause, but haven't gone down that path as yet.

Has anyone else tried anything similar with a KP?

At the mo I have only caught a pissy salmon on mine censored

Turtle,

Did you try a few different size Owners? I find that I have the same lure with different combos of trebles and as you say, it does change the action and also the rise rate on suspension of action.

But in all seriousness, I know you Taswegians do some strange things but your ride (i.e. the upturned table)really needs PIMPING.

Craig.

cmj,

did you run 1 or 2 trebles?

I found 2 got tangled in each other way too much for my liking.

As for me table.......she's a beaut thumbsupsmilie

Not real good in the chop, but plenty of casting space. Just need to fit a live well to comply for some ABT rounds yay

Cheers.
