The Ugly Duckling lure company has just changed the name but will still produce Ugly Duckling lures and Swan Lures at the same time.

On some of my previous post some of the models like RP'RATT and all 4 models in that range are made of plastic but the rest are made of balsa wood.

Im not sure about the Swan lures though but i'll find out for you.

Even the new Ugly Duckling models are deadly for the species.

I was suprised that heaps of the tackle stores are stocking the Ugly Duckling lure range again. I spent heaps of time driving around the place so I time to visit most tackle stores.

Hi guys,

As I have promised

I have some great news. blahblah Swan lures are made of balsa wood and Sambe wood. For now there arent any Swan lures on the market but end of January 2010 there will be.

I hope in that time some of these lures will be in the tackle stores around Aus.

@ MXB

That would be fine , Roger , ....if they're gonna be out in "Down Under" somewhere , somewhen ,.... maybe there would be an online catalog to choose from , ..........I really like these "roach" patterns on daiwa's images , .....surely these would produce well over here !

All importers from countries who import Ugly Duckling will be offered to have a chance to import Swan Lures aswell.

All depends on the Ugly Duckling importers.

I believe there will be plenty worldwide in the soon future.

I cant wait. lol

I think there will be heaps in tackle stores around and online tackle stores.

If I have any other information I let you guys know.

I found some "Goldy" lures in some stores in Adelaide today. yay I bought a couple as the seem to interest me heaps. I've already posted a few images on some other topic I think in "Mystery Lure" but I found some more which I dont have in my collection and I wanted to share the image with you guys.

I can not wait to try Goldy Tiny in 5.5 for snook and salmon later and I expect it to be deadly.

Top Left : Top Right :

Goldy Tiny 5.5 Floating colour : GU Goldy Vibro Max 2.8 Floating colour : MPK
Goldy Tiny 3.8 Slowly Sinking colour : GL Ugly Duckling 4 Floating colour : BASS

With these lures and the lures I've posted on previous topics I can catch all species from bream to salmon, snook & freshwater species such as redfin & trout. There are so many good lure colours/patterns for bass fisherman in Australia.

What do you guys think about the lures ?
