My Rapalas

Post by fishaholiclures » Sat Apr 11, 2009 12:28 pm

Heres my Rapalas, including a set of 100 year anniversary editions, signed with each of Laurie Rapala's son's names Eskio, Risto and Ensio.

Lots of memories here as most of the lures are retiries out of my fishing boxes. Back a 2 decades or so I was using Floating and Countdown 3 & 5cm Minnows and mini Fatraps for bream fishing. And the young fellas these days just think the bream on hardbody
fad is new lol

@ Fishaholiclures

Hi Brad , real nice line up you did there clapclap !

The bait in the second row unpacked , on the right hand , looks very unusual to me !

Never saw the chartreuse/greenback+stripes color on a "Rapala" before !

Hi Deiter,
If I remember correctly, it is a Risto Rap and the colour is chartruese with green spine and stripes, possibly an export only colour,
I know a bunch of brands from Europe do greens for Australia and the US, doesn't seem to be as popular in Europe for some reason.

Yep , as you say it , Brad........ got me to think so as well ....... some years ago I had some US print catalogs , they had different colors to ours in there too , even a lot more ,......most likely !

That pattern is called Green Tiger fellas thumbsupsmilie thumbsupsmilie

I haven't seen Risto Raps in that pattern which doesn't mean much as Rapala did a lot of weird things especially for the Japanese market.

It's a common Dives To series pattern
