Re: Arbogast Goodies
i love the hula poppers and are probably my main collection of abo's and the crawfish
Re: Arbogast Goodies
No offense taken Mully...I've been called MUCH worse than that
Did you guys notice the 2 flockers in the bunch above
Here's a few of the Hula's I have....this pic is about a year old too.
Marked lures have beens spoken for...and I have not done any cleaning on these yet.
And I have to dig out some skirts for them.
Lures in boxes are correct for the codes on them

Re: Arbogast Goodies
Here's a couple of pics of some Arbogast lures.
Here's a list of what's in the 1st pic...
6 Arby's......... 1st introduced in ?
3 Hula Pikes..... 1st introduced in 1962
4 Hustlers....... 1st introduced in 1965
2 Tru-Shad....... 1st introduced in 1964
2 Bug-Eye........ 1st introduced in 1964
1 Chatter-Chub... 1st introduced in ?
2nd pic has 6 Arbogast saltwater Lures + empty box.
Below is a list of what's in the pic. I have the list arranged by year as to what I have seen on the NFLCC Reference site at this link...
http://nflcc.org/CPG/thumbnails.php?album=14&page=4
Years indicated don't necessarily mean the lures were introduced during that year.
Scooter box.....1960
Skinny-Minny....1960
Dasher..........1968
Scudder.........1968
Hammerhead......1982
Dorado..........1982
Here's the model & color codes for each of them...
Scooter...........None (Empty unmarked box)
Skinny-Minny......None color Green Scale
Dasher............2300 26
Scudder...........2430 03
Hammerhead (box)..2530 105
Hammerhead (big)..2600 130
Dorado..............50 26
What's interesting about the Dorado is that the catalog states the length to be 2 1/2", but it's actually 4 1/2".

Re: Arbogast Goodies
@Rivermandave . . .
Those Dashers are an interesting lure and that is an interesting colour! Always noticed that the front prop seems to put on the wrong way but they obviously did that intentionally. I'm lucky enough to own a Dasher in the box but only in R/W.
Thanks for showing
And also a recent J/bug auction;
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/260836034372 ... 1438.l2649
And another;
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170681070004 ... 1438.l2649
Both hitting well over the $100 mark
