Slavko Collection

Post by fishaholiclures » Mon Oct 06, 2008 5:41 pm

Hi Guys.
Kicking this section off with my current collection of Slavko Bugs.
Many thanks must go to Mully for the 13 he put up fr sale a month or two ago, and Frank for kindly filling in some blanks that were hard to get.
I manged to get many of them from a guy in Singapore who was selling the last of his stock.
I also was ucky enough to grab a few others as they came up on Ebay.

Frank Prokop rates this as the second most complete collection he knows of, and of course his is THE most complete lol

Cheers Brad

Very nice Brad.

There are of course the three 'older' colours - Bee, Purple and Green/pearl that were only made in the shallow 55, 65 and 70mm sizes.

They are nice lures and do work very well.

The moulds are all now broken and there will be no more.

If the talented Mully can just move the focus on his photo of the Hot rods from my column - you should be able to see my Slavko's!!

A hell of a lot of older Bream Spinners would be getting gooey in the duds to see these!

I've got a few but after the last loss to an oyster rack loving Bream I refuse to swim them.

Very nice collection gentlemen thumbsupsmilie

Go for it Brad - ther thrill of the hunt.

I am busy trying to chase down a couple of colours of the Storm Bug Plug so know how you feel - unfortunately a number of them are selling for over $100 US each now so just watch them pass by...

Glad if the column helps with volume!!
