One of my favourite topwater lures, always an argument in this household as to what is the best when the tarpon schools are around .... Megabass Dog-X Slider or Dog-X Coayu or the Lucky Craft Sammy or Wander ???

The first of these is the saltwater version and the second freshwater and dates back to 1998 thumbsupsmilie

Bloody hell. Wish i got arguments like that around here.... all i get is nagged to get off the fishing sites!!!

Very nice lures, i have one in GG Bass, unfortunately doesn;t get used much, as i dont fish topwaters much.... lots of effort for little return in SA from my experience, although there are some that have really cracked the code.

Dog-X (walker)

Post by anselmo » Thu Oct 08, 2009 5:45 pm

slightly different
weighted more to the back so should sit in more tilted position rather than flat which means EVEN EASIER walking
and I find the dog-x walks easiest of all my topwater baits anyway ...
