looks nice i unfortunately dont use poppers so cannot comment but megabass make a sweet lure

they make a cool slow cadence knock-knock-knock sound when you walk the dog that I can hear even at the end of a looonnnngggg cast
Like so many - if only they also came in a smaller size these are nearly as thick around as a banana
might be good for any barra boys though

they do work on pike in the shallows as well
with the recent floods we have dams up to capacity which means the big moomoos are in the margins hunting fish - its warmer there than in the deeps

so this baby should have some scratches soon

This has been on my 'want one' list for quite a while .... not sure what I'm going to use it for, but who said that was the criteria for buying a fishing lure anyway lol lol lol
