i dont know i use a lot of other stuff but dont use the jackals any more too expensive for my tastes and i hate spending good cash then upgrade the hooks to handle big fish.Same with the zipbaits great lures crap hooks but i think they have recently changed to owners which is great news from zibaits clapclap but the jackals are poo so i invest in river to seas with daichi my favourite brand next to owners and gammys...Dont forget my opinion only dont take it personal but i like to save my cash hooks and rings are expensive...

Mully TN series Jackalls in the os packet[black cardboard]are fitted with owners 2x djm[orange box]are fitting with owner standards. As for the x smartra have a different action to a TN and sound different. So even if you have only 1 it mite make the differance.

I believe the Megabass lipless cranks get their action through a totally different mechanism to most other lipless cranks. I can't explain it but it supposed to be to do with traditional styles using a flattened front end whereas the Megabass ones use balancers. I've seen the Virbration X lures hook many nice school jew around 80cm.
