Hi all . . . heres an early wooden Lucky 13 with box in R/H which was a fairly common colour combo;

This a real nice one , .........I only have two modern plastic ones in "bass" color , but I have made many knock-offs ,.... its is one of my #1 topwater pike lures , .......they just cannot ignore it !

Love the basic design of these and I also use alot of home made 'Reverse Lucky 13's' where the lip is on top and acts as water spout pushing water forward. One of my most successful models uses this basic concept of lure design.

The old woods are really nice . . . and big too with three large trebles.
