It is with regret that I feel that it is time that I relinquished the Moderator status on the site and return to being a normal member. Unfortunately I am struggling juggling work, personal and Moderator commitments and seriously need to spend more time with my 16yr old son fishing, instead of just talking about it. We’ve bought a pair of new Yaks and I intend getting out there among the Bass a little bit more often with him.
I have full intentions of supporting L&M going forward and have no intentions of Moderating elsewhere, simply I don’t need it anymore. I would like to sincerely thank Mully for his 100% support to me as a Moderator, the trust has been humbling and I for one have thoroughly enjoyed the time on the ‘inside’. I have no doubts that Mully is the right man to lead the site forward and with the great bunch of guys around him there is no doubt that L&M will continue to flourish into the future. I for one will be logging in every day and adding to the site content wherever possible.
Mully, thanks for being a great Captain of the ship, I sincerely hope that you will understand and respect my decision which is personal and one that I feel I need to make.
Finally and just on a personal note, the emergence of lure collecting as a genuine industry has brought with it an ugly side where opinions are becoming more public, people appear less tolerant and unfortunately I now see people who would be genuine friends in real life, taking it all too seriously on the web with each other – simply I don’t want to get caught up in that, I don’t want to have to pick sides and therefore this is also part of the reason why I am also relinquishing my Moderator status. Guys respect each other and the role of a Moderator is relatively painless !!!
Now lets get back to Masterclass #2 cause I've got a hell of a lot of carving to do before Monday night or the Judges may be cruel
