Reference Topics

Post by vince. » Wed Jul 30, 2014 11:56 am

I`ve been playing around trying to get some reference only topics together. These are taken from original topics & all the banter has been removed. Only relevant info & pics remain. The original threads are still there & can be added to if or when more info comes available. This can then be added to the locked reference topic if relevant.

Given the state of the old forum, this may seem a waste of time, but it does make it easier than going through post after post if you are just looking for info. There are not many threads that make this possible as most info is scattered, but I`ll try with the few I can find.
Regards.....Vince.

You have made a great start my friend clapclap clapclap

I noticed you have done

RMG. SETS and MASTERS by yourself
MERLINS by Dave
NEWELLS by Wazza
SEEKERS by the little black duck.

Surely something can be done with the Mcfeeter's, stump jumpers, the Deceptions, the Campbells and so on.
And you have sort of put the Keith Baker's , the Jamie Flett's in holding patterns. Hope you will keep going with them.

I am sure there are members out there who can do similar projects on eg Leads, C lures, Bounty Hunters etc.
Then there are the Oar Gees, the custom crafted, the AC's and the list go on? And what about the Whitty's, one may ask.

There is just so much to do and so little time!

But does anyone care ???

It doesn't matter mate.
They look real good thumbsupsmilie
And I thank you for the effort.

Great job so far Vince ,

Keep it going , as said in the movie.......if you build it - they will come.

Rob D will be a great help to you with the deceptions mate , his cataloguing is immense & very thorough .

Albert "Peebah" lol lol , they may not say it , but they do care and I have no doubt they will use the reference.

Vince , are we able to add photos to the reference topics if we have items on interest not already catalogued ? It might be a good time for me to start to photograph my lures of interest

Hi Froggy

Just a suggestion mate.
Take pics of the lures you have up for sale and there are big numbers
So before you part with them
eg
All the deceptions-- 30 scampi would be a good start under "my scampi's"
All the Campbell's
All the Codseekers
etc.
You can start some reference sets!
Other people can add to it if they wish.

Reading between the lines, you must have a great collections of RMG's and SEEKER's.
Start your own threads on them mate.
Your reference sets can then be based on those threads.

I for one can't wait to see them. thumbsupsmilie

Froggy, I can`t wait to see them as well. yay
This may look like a private club lol & may end up being just that thumbsupsmilie , but I`m sure there will be a lot of others happy to have a look in at them also.

Just a thought with the Seekers, it`s only another 900kms or so to my place. We can go through them & with the better light we have up here, I`m sure we will work them out perfectly lol lol

Hi Vince

Froggy is young and he can drive 1000's of kms thumbsupsmilie
I am more concerned with the added weight of tons of Seekers and RMG's in the 4 wheel drive, your new driveway wil be absolutely rooted lol

I'd like to help with some RMG's. I don't have a lot though. Vince, if I send you some individual pics of each lure maybe you could add them to your RMG reference topic.

Baz, start a thread up with the ones you have & then if anyone wants to add to it or comment then it can be open to that. We can then start a locked reference topic, based on that thread & transfer only the relevant info & pics into it. thumbsupsmilie

If that makes sense -duh
