Big Barra

Post by OLDMAN » Sun Sep 21, 2008 7:31 pm

I spoke with the new owner of Riedy's Lures,
He passed on a pic of these lures to Jeff Reidy
Jeff confirmed them as his first PLASTIC lure called "Big Barra"
Unfortunately I did not get an age on them.

Very nice, and a little more collectable than Lee's as well.

Hi Oldman, I spoke to Jeff about the Big Barra, it was first made in 88-89. Check under the bib, it should have the name "Reidys" in pen.

Samurai
Thanks for the info.
I would like to see more of your lure.
Mine have a mould line down the middle of the bib,
I cant see one in yours.
I have no writing under the bib.
Laurie.

There ya go Laurie howdy mine has the line down the bib as well. The lure was made using a two part plastic mould, with half the bib on each half, unlike moulded urethane lures where the bib is inserted into the mould in one peice.
