Portrait- Ron Dau

Post by Marrakai » Sat Jun 19, 2010 12:15 pm

Found this good portrait photo of Ron Dau, doing what he loves best, circa ~1990.
Ron bought Barra King Lures off Henry Hall in 1986, and still makes them I believe.

not a bad system, certainly lets them dry out and they are always at hand. I reckon though that I'd end up waring a hook or two.

interesting that the egg beater was the reel of choice as well.

Sorry to here that, is anyone still making them in Mossman?
I've quite a few and have always had good-luck with them, especially the 10cm shallow.
