More Barra Baits...

Post by Marrakai » Sun Dec 06, 2009 2:13 pm

Ol'mate Marty was cruising the garage sales last weekend and happened to pick up a tacklebox full of lures for the standard price (bugger-all!), and generously dropped the timbers around yesterday for the collection.

Nice unfished Barra Baits:- two 3-inches, a 4-inch and a 6-inch.

Check out the snout variation in the two 3-inchers:- extreme!

I assume these BBs with the big yellow eyes are fairly early production?
The two 3-inchers are pretty roughly finished!

Love those square ended ones - they are the ones I remember most when I first used lures for estuarry perch and some crazy by-catch bream - you know they'd never eat a lure, must have been a really odd day out for a black bream in Vic to eat a lure over 20 years ago now -duh
But the eps loved eating them.
