nice scrounge Dave, always good to hang onto any Aussie stuff.
Looks like one of the early Knols before he sent his business off shore to be manufactured, Paint and bib tells me this........I think.thumbsupsmilie

Yep a nice colour that one.

And definitely an older style - the chin on the lure tells you that - its nice and thick, the later cheaper ones have a thin chin which is why there is a reputation for them breaking!!

G'Day,

Have about 10 or 12 of John's lure's and did catch fish on em in the past. will endeavour to take a pic of lures and post em!

However attached is a pic of a lure that John personally gave to me about 12 or 13 years back. This lure never was in production and was only ever a proto job. Lure is about 85cm body and 120 with bib!

anyone interested?

Some people are flatout stupid, there is a Knol's Native 55 on Ebay at the moment "A few marks and a few small scratches" crazysmilie it's the latest one too with the circle around the K. It has 16 bids crazysmilie and is at $49.00 with nearly 4 days to go crazysmilie .
Elsewhere on ebay the same lure didn't get a bid with the starting price at $18.50 shockedsmilie new and still in the packet. I bought at couple off this person and got a discount, should have bought the lot, scratched them up abit and doubled my money. -duh

I agree - I couldn't believe that shallow 50mm knols. A deep 75 went for less than that last week - I have a whole heap of those ones that were $18.50 coming - I bought a heap of them and got them for $14 each!
