Heres a oval bibbed scorpion I recently picked up.

Age and some light use have made it even more attractive as it reminds me these lures were made to catch fish. Despite that I think it has held up pretty well for the years and I have been going back to have a few looks at it during the day.

Very nice Simon. When you get sick of lookin gat it please sell it too me please thumbsupsmilie

What ere do you think it belongs to? At a wild guess I would think around mid 90's. Before the partnership and the beginning of the more oval lexan bibs but not too early either. Those eye's say that to me as well as I have the same on a couple of mince and have seen also on Brolly's lures. A very nice looking lure.

I don't think i could part with it Al, my pictures don't do it justice or capture the way the red fades out as I roll it under lights.

I would only be having a stab and say it is in the 90's because of the oval bib.

I think Brolly recently posted a similar colour scheme on a scorpion in a post on favorite colour schemes and I can see why.

Simon,
One just sold online similar to yours with the oval bib. I placed a bid early knowing it would go alot higher, it did $238, amazing.
