Great sutff, what lure did the job for you?

Simon i caught the big one on an Oargee and the smaller on a Predatec .
brolly i used a 6/8 kg Gadliator rod ,a MG 100 CORE reel and loaded with 50lb braid and sunline leader ,i was standing on a small snag when i drove the hooks in the big bugger just out from the other bank ,then a 10mtr run downstream ,it went nut i had to put some hurt on it to slow it down ,it then hit a submerged log and decided to take off again ,,,,Snap goes the rod ....
HERES ONE WALKING THE BANK OF ANOTHER WATER ,ON A RELIABLE TIMBER HB, THE CALAIS AND 8/6KG PENN PINPOINT HELD TOGEATHER. gotta luv the rush....

Landbased catches are my faves ,the fish always seem to be harder to land,,,, censored,,,,i'll post a few boat catch's when i have time,,some of them have been a bit tough too ..Heres one on a timber hb .

Nice fish man! spewing we cant target them down here anymore. The penn pin point is a gold rod thats for sure, heaps of strength. thumbsupsmilie
Beginner or pro, doesent matter how good you are, fishings a gambling game. Put your lure in the right place at the right time and it will get smashed!
