All the "Pinchies"

Post by vince. » Mon Apr 22, 2013 3:10 pm

Mr Pinchie holds pride of place in our Dining room. At 350mm it`s not hard to see why. He, along with his 110mm Brother were gifted to me by a good mate.
Gus from King Willy lures, seeing the need for a middle sized Pinchie, thought he would try & carve one similar to Rob`s pair. This lure may not be vintage, but to me, he certainly is collectable.

This is the second lure he ever carved, using a coping saw & a new Fat-Max Stanley knife & going off some pics in a post on here. Gus being somewhat of an idiot crazysmilie & having no facilities & even less ability lol , left the finishing up to a sweat shop on the coast clapclap . He did the carving only.

I couldn`t be happier, I have a lure carved by a great mate & then painted & finished by another great mate. “King Willie Pinchie” may not be perfect in every way, but he is as precious to me as any lure in my care. ksssss

Thanks to Gus & Rob for their time & kind gesture. thumbsupsmilie

240mm from tip to tip.
