Aluminium lures

Post by fishaholiclures » Sun Oct 24, 2010 12:22 pm

Hi all, saw this on fleabay and had to get one just to have a look

made from sheet ally by a guy in Yarraman Qld. nice and solid, well finished. just not sure what sort of action it will have, but couldn't be any worse than some of the blade lures around.

A little surprise package turned up the other day, the new 'blade' from the same maker. it's cute and now has a place alongside his bigger brother

I'm really quite curious as to how these lures swim, mainly the big one. Might have to e-buy myself one, if the price is right?

Hi there , mate , .......just came to my mind that someone had posted this link on a German site the other day , .........looks quite similar , doesn't it ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=mX-HaOynRso

But looks like they've stuck some kinda tungsten putty onto the belly portion behind the bib , ......guess that this is essential to ballance the lure , without that ballast it would surely get to spin .
