The honest and straight forward approach is the best way to handle things. Its not offensive if you've got nothing to hide or a self made 'legend' status to uphold.

G`day Chooka. You might remember an idiot mate of mine, called Fizza who used to be a member here. You sound like his twin. thumbsupsmilie

He tried to tell everyone the truth, but was howled down as being a trouble making conspirator. He was banned more times than his mate Baz & probably deserved most of them. lol lol

Anyway, if you do get to be talking to him, please let him know that they are still all denying they know anything & are still promoting the lie that Peter Newell made these lures & it is OK to sign someone`s name after they are deceased. As we all know that is not OK & probably illegal.

He was wasting his time then & we are wasting our time now. -duh -duh
Regards.....Vince.

Times have changed mate.

Still the same amount of behind the scenes crap & manipulation, but the fun goes out of it for a lot of people when we try to sort out the truth to anything, not just this topic -duh

Rob was fine when we could all throw stones at him & bludge off him, but when the truth starts to appear, it`s not hard to see what happens.

I don't think times have changed mate, same old still going on with self proclaimed experts who really don't know what they're talking about as you know.

Bennetts Baby Merlins & Attack lures are a typical example. Those who started collecting them in the last few years are now experts and know it all NOT crazysmilie crazysmilie
