Aeroplane Spinner

Post by aussiebasser » Thu Jul 17, 2014 10:08 am

Pam recently had a trip to her home town of Rutherglen. She found this in her brother's shed. It's an Aeroplane Spinner bought by her father before he passed away and never used. The most interesting thing about it is that the price tag, at all of $1.60, is written in my father's hand writing and was bought from his shop in Wangaratta before he passed away. The letters on the price tag are Dad's code letters so he knew the cost price of everything in his shop by looking at the tag. This one can live in the lure cabinet now.

Pam has an old Leghorn Aeroplane Spinner of her father's that has been framed and hangs on the wall.
