Re: Barra Biffa

There was a Lively Lures Arafura Barra, a rapala, a Killalure cone popper another popper and another minnow lure. Got a jack from under the tree and a barra from a snag a few metres upstream and another barra same snag next day.

Re: T. McFeeters Tenterfield lure/ Convict/Jew-Anne?

It looks old and the lures I got with it looked old as well. I'd say 20 years. thanks for the id. My mate has a good collection of Tenterfield lures , 200s and darts bought 10-15 years ago and the finish on those is much higher standard,

Barra Biffa

This one came out of a tree over a croc infested creek on Cape York along with 5 other lures. Feels like solid plastic and sinks quickly. Also casts well which is why it was up the tree. Has Barra Biffa moulded into the back.

Re: T. McFeeters Tenterfield lure/ Convict/Jew-Anne?

Lure looks old with shrinkage cracks in the wood. I think older than 10 years.

T. McFeeters Tenterfield lure/ Convict/Jew-Anne?

Picked this up at a market a few weeks ago. Doesnt look like any other McFeeters lure i have seen. The lure manufacturers directory in the Freshwater Fishing lures Encyclopedia 1991 lists a Convict and a Jew-Anne . May be one of these.

Re: Cedar lures

Hello Schultzy, I thought you might know something about these lures. You probably knew their previous owner as well , Bob "Crazy" Carruthers.

Probably SEQ. From my late brother in laws lifetime accumulation of lures. All lures have the name Cedar lures hand written on them. The large one under the bib and the smaller under the body.
